Balcony Side Covering Nets
Balcony side covering nets address the specific requirement of covering the open sides of a balcony — the side panels between the parapet wall and the ceiling slab — rather than the full balcony face. This partial covering approach is used where the primary entry point for birds is the side opening rather than the front, or where only side panels require covering for privacy or debris control.
Side covering nets are custom-cut to the height and width of each side panel opening and mounted using the standard SS anchor and border wire system. They can be specified in the same mesh sizes as full balcony nets — from 50mm for pigeon exclusion to 19mm for smaller birds. The side net system can also be combined with a front net for complete balcony enclosure.
Balcony side nets also serve as privacy screens in apartments where the side of the balcony faces a neighbouring flat at close range. A tighter mesh acts as an effective privacy barrier while maintaining ventilation — a functional upgrade for apartments where conventional balcony railings provide no side-privacy.
