Child Safety Nets

Child safety nets provide an essential fall-prevention barrier for open balconies, stairwells, elevated play areas, and any other height-exposed space accessible to young children. Unlike invisible grills which use tensioned cables, child safety nets use a tightly-woven mesh that eliminates all gaps larger than 25mm, ensuring that no part of a child\'s body — including fingers, feet, and head — can pass through or become trapped.

The net is manufactured from high-tenacity nylon or HDPE with a breaking strength calibrated to withstand the dynamic impact of a falling child — typically rated to a minimum of 75kg dynamic load per anchor point. The border rope is typically 8mm polypropylene or SS wire rope, threaded through SS eyelet anchors spaced at 600mm intervals to distribute load uniformly.

Child safety nets must be installed with zero gaps at corners, junctions, and anchor points — the most critical aspect of a child-safe installation. Our teams are trained to seal all potential penetration points and verify the completed installation against a child-safety checklist before sign-off.
