Swimming pool safety nets provide a critical layer of fall protection for residential and apartment complex pools, preventing unsupervised children and pets from falling into the water. Unlike pool fencing which requires gate management, a properly installed pool safety net covers the water surface directly — a child or pet who reaches the pool edge and falls in is caught by the net before entering the water.

Pool safety nets are manufactured from high-tenacity polypropylene or nylon with UV stabilisation, rated to a specific dynamic load that accounts for the weight and speed of a falling child. The net is tensioned across the pool from anchor points around the pool perimeter at deck level, maintaining a tight surface that does not sag into the water under load.

Pool safety nets can be specified as permanent or removable systems. Permanent nets remain in place throughout the year and are rated for continuous outdoor exposure. Removable systems use a quick-release anchor system that allows the net to be removed in under 5 minutes when the pool is in supervised use, and reinstalled just as quickly when the pool is unsupervised.
